Transactions are captured digitally at the point of weighing, eliminating paper records and manual data entry.

Overweight vehicles are flagged automatically, giving operators an immediate alert when a vehicle exceeds its permitted maximum weight.

Waste Transfer Notes & EWC Codes

Sentinel generates digital Waste Transfer Notes (WTNs) for every transaction, each assigned the correct European Waste Catalogue (EWC) code for the material being moved. This creates a complete, auditable trail from source to disposal site — exactly what regulators and customers need to demonstrate compliance.

Haulier Management

Sentinel maintains a full register of hauliers operating across your sites. Each haulier’s vehicles, account type and current status are tracked centrally. For hauliers operating on a prepaid credit basis, Sentinel monitors account balances in real time, making it straightforward to identify when an account needs topping up before the next collection.

Supplier & Project Tracking

Every load is linked to a supplier and project, giving you a clear picture of where material is coming from and how it maps to customer contracts. Project references are recorded against each transaction, making end-of-period reporting and billing significantly faster.

Disposal Site Operations

Sentinel manages multiple disposal sites from a single platform. Each site has its own configuration — permitted materials, capacity tracking, and display settings. Load data rolls up to site level so operators can compare performance across locations in real time.

Customer & Supplier Portal

Suppliers and customers have secure, account-based access to their own portal. Once logged in, they can track loads arriving at site in real time, view transaction history, and download records — without needing to contact site staff directly. Each user only ever sees data relevant to their own account.

Internal Operations Dashboard

Site staff have a dedicated internal dashboard showing a live view of the day’s activity — number of loads by site, material breakdown, pricing, and any overweight vehicle alerts. The dashboard refreshes automatically throughout the day, giving operations teams the information they need without leaving their desk.

Built for UK Compliance

Sentinel is designed around UK waste regulations and is actively being developed to support the government’s mandatory digital waste tracking programme, which comes into effect from October 2026 in England, Northern Ireland and Wales, and January 2027 in Scotland.
