Sentinel has brought a much higher level of structure and control to our weighbridge operations at Enfield Chase. Every load is now consistently recorded, with clear traceability from the point a ticket is received through to reporting, which has strengthened both our day-to-day management and compliance.
The system is well suited to a live site environment. Data entry at the gate is quick and straightforward, allowing us to capture key information such as haulier details, project references, material types, and weights without slowing down operations. The ability to attach photographic records of tickets adds an extra layer of verification, which has been particularly valuable when reviewing or auditing records.
What stands out is how everything is connected in one place. Approved projects, hauliers, vehicle details, and material types are all managed within the system, making it easy to control what comes into site and ensure it aligns with our requirements. The prepaid and account tracking features have also improved how we manage customer balances and invoicing, reducing the need for separate manual processes.
A particularly useful addition is the customer portal, which allows clients to access their own data in real time. They can view all waste transfer tickets logged against their account, giving them full transparency and reducing the need for back-and-forth when it comes to reporting or queries.
Access to clear, up-to-date operational data has made a noticeable difference to how we run the site. Whether it’s tracking volumes, reviewing project activity, or generating reports, the information is reliable and readily available.
Overall, Sentinel is a practical, well-built system that supports the realities of site operations. It has improved accuracy, reduced admin, and given us far better visibility and control over our incoming waste streams.
